FOOD & TOY DRIVE AT YOUR CLUB

With the holiday season approaching, MOVATI members and team members can make holiday dreams come true for families in our communities by supporting our toy and food drive, from November 23rd to December 19th.

The toys we collect will be donated to the Toy Mountain Drive and we will donate all non-perishable food collected to Feed Ontario and Edmonton's Food Bank.

Our gifts and food donations mean families can bring joy to their children with presents and gather around nourishing meals during the holiday season. But beyond that, your generosity tells these families that they are not alone—someone cares, and the spirit of Christmas shines brightly through this kindness!

Look for separate toy and food collection boxes in club.

Most Needed Non-Perishable Food Items

Canned fruits and vegetables

Canned meats and fish (tuna, salmon, sardines)

Canned beans (chickpeas, kidney beans, etc)

Baked beans

Dry beans and pasta

Hot and cold cereal

Individually packed snacks (granola bars, apple sauce, pudding cups)

Jam/fruit spread

TOY Guidelines & Suggestions

Toys must be new and unwrapped. Please do not forget the tweens, teens, and babies as these age groups often fall short on gifts. Please consider these children when selecting a toy to donate. Here are some ideas of appropriate items for tweens and teens (10 years of age and older):

Curling irons, hair dryers, hair kits

Digital music players, electronics

Makeup kits

Jewelry, books, hoodies, scarves, and gloves

Sporting goods, board games

Backpacks, school supplies

GET STARTED - Thunder Bay

Welcome to the Movati Athletic Group Fitness class registration. Please read these class registration rules below before booking a class.

The following registration rules apply:

Rule 1: No late entry will be permitted. We must start our classes on time to allow you and others an opportunity to enjoy the full experience.

Rule 2: Arrive 5 minutes prior to the start of class to secure your reservation. If you have pre-registered and fail to arrive before the 5-minute warning, your access to the class will only be granted on the remaining availability. (First-come, first-served basis).

Members who are on standby will be invited to enter 3 minutes before the class starts and you may lose your spot if you have not been checked in yet.

Rule 3: We are reinforcing our 2 hour cancellation policy. You will no longer be able to cancel less than 2 hours prior to your class and will be considered a no-show.

Rule 4: Any member who fails to attend a booked class three (3) times in 14 days will be automatically suspended from booking any Group Fitness classes for a 14-day period. Members who are suspended from reserving classes online may still attend a Group Fitness class as a walk in, if spots are available.

Rule 5: For Aqua fitness classes please speak to the front desk to ask how the club will be checking for confirmation of booking.

Please bring your own Yoga mat for classes that require it
(Such as Yoga, Pilates, Core Challenge, Core, Balance, and Stretch, etc.)

Gentle (G): This category offers classes that are slower paced, easy to follow and gentle on your joints.

Basic (B): Basic classes are geared towards newer participants where additional instructions on safety, posture, equipment use, and technique are given to build a solid foundation in your workout routine.

Everyone (E): Everyone Welcome! Instructions of safety, posture, equipment use and technique are given while offering options that will work for a wide range of participants looking to build upon experience gained through BASIC classes.

Intermediate/Advanced (I/A): Intermediate/Advanced classes are challenging in intensity with experience required. Reduced instructions and modifications are given in order to challenge the participant’s knowledge and technique gained through EVERYONE classes.
