Being the mom of 4 children (3 bio and 1 adopted) means compartmentalizing my time for the important things (family, friends, work, WORKING OUT, etc). MOVATI has provided a great atmosphere for myself, my husband and our children. Amazing staff welcoming us by name and making notice when we are accomplishing goals. The Barrhaven location is just far enough for us to be able to walk (extra cardio) or drive in under 5min.

Before I joined MOVATI I was tired, out of shape and stressed. After a few weeks of trying most of the classes I felt like my old self. It was amazing. Where do I even start? This action packed gym is like no other in the city and totally overpowers all the other gyms I’ve been to. With all the varieties of equipment, classes, and pools I’m so motivated and do my best to come everyday! The friendly environment is so welcoming and the staff is always willing to help. I absolutely love this gym!

I am a Type 1 Diabetic and fitness is an important way that I am able to keep my diabetes and blood sugars under control. Fitness is also an important way that I can control my stress levels and maintain my mental health. Fitness has played an important role in my mental and physical health for nearly 20 years. It has been a part of my career and I help other people became physically active through fitness.

I don't think I ever knew my passion until I began my fitness journey. I was pretty active from a young age, but never would have considered myself as fit. It was only recently that I found my love for fitness and personal improvement. Without a doubt, MOVATI has played a huge role in my fitness journey, as I have been a member for almost 5 years. Continuous lockdowns have been tough on me, but I am looking forward to walking through the MOVATI doors and getting back to fitness. This is only just the beginning!

I joined Movati in 2017, but I wasn’t sure about joining a gym again after many years. From the first day I stepped through those doors, I knew I had made the right choice. It’s now been 4 years later and I’ve done many of their challenges, I love all their classes, including: drums, yoga, 20/20/20, and on it goes. There’s always a class for me. I’ve lost 50 pounds and kept it off. These last 16 months, MOVATI has literally saved my mental health! What you have done for me and my sister who has taken all the online classes with me from Montréal, I can never thank you enough. MOVATI Athletic was the first gym I ever went consistently to and it changed my life forever. I have lost over 100 lbs in a span of 1+ years and I became a part of the MOVATI Athletic team as a part-time member experience associate soon after!
