MOVATI Yoga

Our dedicated yoga area provides an authentic yoga experience, in an environment that is conducive to both relaxation and meditation away from the activity and traffic of the rest of the club. Our yoga space includes a Hot Yoga Studio, Sky Studio and Zen Lounge where you can socialize and warm up.

Class Styles

At its foundation, yoga is an individual discipline. Whichever way you prefer to practice it, we have a class that can help you reach your personal state of zen. After all, each one of us lives by our own mantra. Our purpose is to help you achieve yours.

Sweat & Surrender
Sweat & Surrender

A balanced blend of challenge and peace. The first-half of this class consists of dynamic yoga postures and movements to build strength and flexibility. The second-half is a calming surrender to gravity in the style of our Yin classes.

Meditation
Meditation

Soothe the mind and the rest will follow. This class enables you to see more clearly through daily stresses and achieve a deeper sense of peace. From beginner to avid enthusiast, students of all levels will benefit from this enlightening experience.

Essentials
Essentials

It all starts here. This class is aimed at those seeking an understanding of the basics. Here you’ll discover how to get the most from your yoga session. Learn about breathing, posture, inner peace and honouring your body.

Yin
Yin

A deeply healing, grounding practice where postures are held for extended periods of time. Students learn to lean into gravity to elicit decompression of connective tissue and release physical and energetic blockages. Taught in the heat the practice facilitates detoxifying and deep stretching, taught in a cooler room and the practice facilitates structural change. Beneficial for every shape, size, and level of activity from triathlete to newbie, first time to fierce Yogi.

SET YOUR CLUB LOCATION
Gentle (G): This category offers classes that are slower paced, easy to follow and gentle on your joints.

Basic (B): Basic classes are geared towards newer participants where additional instructions on safety, posture, equipment use, and technique are given to build a solid foundation in your workout routine.

Everyone (E): Everyone Welcome! Instructions of safety, posture, equipment use and technique are given while offering options that will work for a wide range of participants looking to build upon experience gained through BASIC classes.

Intermediate/Advanced (I/A): Intermediate/Advanced classes are challenging in intensity with experience required. Reduced instructions and modifications are given in order to challenge the participant’s knowledge and technique gained through EVERYONE classes.
